China Foreign Transportation's Foreign Transportation Logistics Launches Intelligent Inventory Robot

Technological iterations and upgrades are constantly opening up innovations for logistics development. On December 7, China Foreign Transportation's Foreign Transportation Logistics officially launched the intelligent inventory robot "Xiaoyoupan" in Guangzhou. This is another positive practical achievement of China Foreign Transportation's vigorous development of intelligent logistics, continuously creating efficient, accurate, and safe digital warehousing solutions for a wide range of customers.

The intelligent inventory robot "Xiaoyoupan" is an intelligent inventory device independently developed by China Foreign Transportation over five years. This device uses AI vision technology as its core, AGV as its carrier, and a lifting mechanism and vision camera group as its executive mechanism. It can automatically identify, collect, and verify the information of goods in each storage location for different storage forms such as full pallets and loose pallets. It features strong adaptability and fast iteration speed, is suitable for various pallet rack types, can replace inventory personnel, and can safely, high-quality, and efficiently complete inventory tasks.

In terms of function, "Xiaoyoupan" can achieve full coverage of the four elements of inventory: product identification, batch identification, quantity identification, and storage location identification.

In terms of performance, "Xiaoyoupan" can achieve inventory of goods at a height of 11 meters, with an information reading rate ≥99.9%, an identification accuracy rate of 100%, a maximum inventory efficiency of 1500 pallets/hour, a battery life of more than 8 hours, and supports various inventory modes such as appointment inventory, dynamic inventory, designated storage location inventory, designated SKU inventory, dark inventory, and narrow aisle inventory. During the "Xiaoyoupan" inventory process, 360° obstacle avoidance sensing and real-time monitoring of battery temperature can be achieved. In case of an abnormality, the management personnel will be automatically notified by SMS for quick emergency handling.

"Xiaoyoupan" also supports various inventory modes such as appointment inventory, dynamic inventory, designated storage location inventory, designated SKU inventory, dark inventory, and narrow aisle inventory; during the process, 360° obstacle avoidance sensing and real-time monitoring of battery temperature can be achieved; in case of abnormality, the management personnel will be automatically notified for quick emergency handling.

In terms of service, relying on general design principles and underlying algorithm precipitation, "Xiaoyoupan" can achieve efficient deployment and launch in as fast as two months in scenarios such as the inventory of goods stored in rack-type warehouses.

In terms of intelligence, "Xiaoyoupan" uses a three-dimensional bionic vision cargo information acquisition system to obtain complex information in a one-stop manner, effectively improving the adaptability and accuracy of visual algorithms in complex scenarios, and can still perform normal inventory checks even under abnormal conditions such as wrapped goods, magic tape, damaged labels, wrinkles, and pollution.

After a leading customer in a certain industry proposed the application requirement for automatic inventory, China Foreign Transportation's R&D team responded actively, quickly prepared for the project launch, and implemented the evaluation of multiple schemes such as drones and AGVs. From in-depth research to combining actual simulations of warehousing scenarios, and finally determining the AGV inventory plan, China Foreign Transportation and its customers have worked together to promote product iteration and upgrading.

The full launch of "Xiaoyoupan" in the seven major regions of Foreign Transportation Logistics has not only expanded the application scenarios of China Foreign Transportation's intelligent logistics in the warehousing business field but also further improved the full-process product matrix, laying a solid foundation for better improving service capabilities and promoting industry development.
